Note that this is the arcade version. So there is only a 512 Mb storage built in.
Does anyone know whether you can attach a 20 Gb HDD from another Xbox 360 into the Arcade version?
I'll be buying this console if it means I get a working console with a FUNCTIONAL Ethernet Adapter.

I believe it is both possible and easy to attach other x-box HDDs to the arcade version. Several of the X-boxes in the console lab began as arcade versions in fact.

Interesting… but have you considered you are on Internet?

Yup, truth.
And a $100 arcade and buying a HDD separate is cheaper than buying an elite for $300.
Lawyered.

That's great! I was gonna buy a whole new Xbox, because the ethernet adapter in the back of mine doesn't work anymore, so my options were: Buy a whole new 20 GB HDD Xbox for $299, Send it in for repair for $100, buy a wireless router for $100, or buy an Xbox Arcade version for $199. This way, i get another Xbox, in working condition, and I can use the old Xbox as well. Score!

I've always found my 360 games run faster if I set my 360s to run in SLI – buying a second is a good investment.

Definitely buy it, the memory thing is not an issue at all for a couple reasons. I got an arcade cause mine was scratching up discs and still use my original 20 gig hard drive, and it works perfectly fine.

I'm a blonde, I have an excuse. I figured there may be something to it, but apparently not.

Damnit Setsu, I was going to explain to him the Y-connection HDMI cable.
Thanks for ruining my joke.
